This week on WPblab Jason Tucker, Bridget Willard speak with James Laws and Josh Pollock about their WordPress Form Plugins. @kstover Good point.

  23. Kevin Stover Avatar

    Forums put the burden of knowledge on the user to know what their problem is.

  24. Kevin Stover Avatar

    They often know the symptoms but not the actual problem.

  25. Kevin Stover Avatar

    Forums are good for power users and not as good for normal users.

  26. Emanuel Costa Avatar

    They have tons of content indexed on Google from theirs forum that is closed for 3 years now I think

  27. Kevin Hoffman Avatar

    Gravity Forms + Help Scout integration has been awesome for tagging support requests on the way in. Not sure if you guys have Help Scout add-ons.

  35. Kevin Stover Avatar

    Agree with @Josh412. Again, support forums put way too much burden of knowledge on the average user.

  36. Bridget Willard Avatar

    @kstover As a beginner, it’s overwhelming. 🙂

  37. Adam Silver Avatar

    @jameslaws #Cabo! 🙂

  38. Kevin Hoffman Avatar

    not to harp on help scout, but the combination of help docs, email support, and the ability to quickly organize and delegate emails in the dashboard is awesome

  39. Bridget Willard Avatar

    @kevinwhoffman No, I’m sure you’re right.

  40. Kevin Stover Avatar

    @kevinwhoffman – We don’t use Helpscout because they don’t have a major feature we need: priority.

  41. Kevin Stover Avatar

    We currently use Desk.com
