q/ Do you use Freelancer type websites for finding remote WP work? I’ve never bothered because I have enough as it is, but I have to wonder if I’m missing out, and if you do then which ones? I feel you just become a voice in the crowd, and there’s no real relationship which I value.

@enqueue_russ thanks btw for sharing 🙂 and for the great tip about the specific questions… the hard part in my situation is that she’s usually the one asking the questions, and it’s all “lost in her email” or “in some document” that she doesn’t have up
That’s what my boss does. It reallly helps keep us focusd.
@MadeBetter If she’s your employee, I’d suggest that you start it in GDoc, share on the conversation. “The purpose of this call is to 1, 2 , 3 …”
It’s also in who you know and just reaching out and saying “hey if you ever need someone who does what I do… here’s some of my work, I love what you do and would love to work with you”
@YouTooCanBeGuru technically we’re collaborators, she has hired me for SEO/SEM expertise, so she really brings the questions and I bring the answers
